Art Of Adrinne- Door Art at the Okemos Coffee Shop

At the Okemos Coffee Shop, we wanted part of the space to feel creative, bold, and a little unexpected- even the bathroom doors.

That's why we invited Art of Adrienne to her signature style into the shop.  The result is two custom-painted doors that an everyday part of our space into a full experience.  Each door is bright, playful, surreal and impossible to ignore.  

One door burst with color, movement and joy- rainbow leopard patterns, floating hearts, dreamy clouds, ocean elements, a playful cat, and other unexpected little details that make you stop and smile.  It feels fun, wild and just a little magical with Lisa Frank vibes. 

The other door leans into a bolder, cosmic energy- with a vivid rainbow backdrop, flowers, mushrooms, stars, and a striking skull design that feels both edgy and beautiful.  It's the kind of piece that makes the whole room feel like it's own tiny art gallery- gold tooth and all. 

Together these murals reflect what we love most about this space: creativity, personality, humor, color, and LOCAL ART that makes people FEEL something.

I believe my coffee shop should be more than a place to grab a quick drink.  It should be a place that sparks conversation, inspires ideas, and supports artist who make our community more vibrant.  Art of Adrienne help us to do exactly that.   

These painted doors are more than decor.  They're part of the spirit of the Okemos Coffee Shop- expressive, memorable, and made with heart.
